Welcome! Thanks for stopping to check out the Grace Christian School Website! I have found Grace an enjoyable place to serve. After having spent 38 years in education other than Christian education, this is a wonderful place for children-and for an educator!
I think you will find all the information you might need to make an informed and prayerful decision about your child's education. At Grace we realize that you as a parent have an important role in educating your child and work to see that you are informed of grades, test scores, and events through our on-line parent connection at RenWeb.com. Our goal is to provide an academically excellent education in a safe environment where students can excel, feel loved, and know that somebody cares and will help when they need it. I would like to be able to say of all our students as Luke says of Jesus in chapter 2, verse 52, "And the child grew in wisdom and statue and in favor with God and man."
Grace is a small, rural school with students from a wide variety of economic, social, ethnic, and religious backgrounds involved in fulfilling activities that strengthen minds and bodies. We have a strong academic program where our students' scores on ACT and the Stanford Achievement far exceed state and national averages. I am of the opinion that one should not be a part of something that is not fun for too long. To make school fun we involve our students in athletics, music, art, interesting and educational field trips, and fun activities at school.
If your goal is educating your child in a safe, orderly school with high academic expectations and with Godly principles, then you will find Grace Christian School to be as refreshing and as much fun as I have found it to be. I encourage all of you-especially pastors of all local churches-to drop by for a visit and see what Grace has to offer.
